Job Opening for Implementation Consultant
This position involves analyzing client functional requirements
and application configuration and implementation. It also involves
training customers on application usage/configuration and assisting
customers with application testing and rollout. You will recommend
business process improvements and analyze, specify, and design
application enhancements.
Excellent communication skills are mandatory, and the applicant
must be able to work well with all types of customers. A familiarity
with business applications such as Word and Excel is important,
as are strong SQL skills. The applicant must work well as a team
member and individually. A candidate must be willing to travel
to customer sites 25-50% of the time.
A background in payroll, HR, or time and attendance would be very
helpful. Programming knowledge in any 4GL would be useful, but
is not required. Other desired skills include experience implementing
or working with packaged HRMS software systems, such as PeopleSoft,
Lawson, Oracle, SAP, etc. Knowledge of HR & payroll policies,
procedures and systems (ADP, Ceridian, Pro Business, etc) is also
a plus.
