VISION: Elevate’s workforce management conference session recaps

Thursday concluded the second day of conference sessions at VISION: Elevate, the premier workforce management event for professionals to network, learn and share innovative and best practices to support their organization’s workforce. This year’s experience was designed to inspire attendees to elevate workforce management.

Jeff Moses, president, WorkForce Software, an ADP company, opened the conference on Wednesday by talking about the company’s commitment to advancing ADP® Workforce Suite with faster functionality through client-focused product innovation.

Today, Bill Shaheen, div. vice president – sales, started by referencing keynote speaker, Josh Sundquist’s “One More Thing. One More Time.” mantra — specifically regarding the importance of commitment and our commitment to our clients and investing in ADP WorkForce Suite. Bill encouraged attendees to continue their ongoing participation in user groups and in the WorkForce Community to provide feedback that will help focus the product team on where to advance ADP WorkForce Suite next.

Bill closed VISION: Elevate with a panel discussion of WorkForce Software and ADP leaders where they answered frequently asked questions.

“One More Thing. One More Time. is a mindset everyone on the product team has today. The best products are built through constant listening, adapting and improving. It’s why we are here at VISION, to learn that ‘one more thing’ we can add to the software to continue delivering value.”

Manual compliance to automated FLSA tracking: How the City of Roseville is preparing for the “Big Beautiful Bill”

For the City of Roseville, new federal overtime requirements introduced under the “Big Beautiful Bill” meant navigating complex FLSA work cycles for police and fire personnel operating on 24- and 28-day rotational schedules, where overtime eligibility must be calculated across rolling periods. This session went over how the City of Roseville partnered with application management services (AMS) to implement an automated, scalable solution. Designed to dynamically track hours and overtime across diverse workforce segments, AMS helped the City of Roseville prepare for sustainable alignment with the Big Beautiful Bill in 2026 and beyond.

“We realized working with AMS would help us get the best results to identify qualified overtime. ADP® WorkForce Suite is now tracking all FLSA overtime hours for all our schedules.”

Tim Morgan | Payroll Analyst, City of Roseville

Scaling time and attendance: Managing acquisitions, unions and global complexity with a lean team

As organizations grow through acquisitions, managing time and attendance across regions, unions and diverse workforce populations becomes increasingly complex. In this session, Acuity Brands shared how they’ve successfully scaled their global time and attendance environment while remaining live, compliant and agile. With over 15,000 employees globally, Acuity Brands shared how they navigate union contracts, regional labor mandates, evolving HR processes and acquisitions with a remarkably small team.

“Partnering with AMS early allowed us to bridge the architecture gap without hard coding permanent technical debt into our core system.”

Alex Kadhi, HRIS Analyst, Acuity Inc.

Highlights from our partner-led sessions

These sessions prove our partners’ continued commitment to elevating global workforce management processes and technology. We’re grateful for this demonstrated excellence that raises the benchmark for success.

From discovery to design: Navigating the requirements life cycle for global rollouts

In this session, Accenture hosted a panel of experts to discuss common areas where most organizations struggle during global workforce management rollouts and where the right approach prevents failure. Inna Bolotina explained a proven life cycle, from discovery through design, that reduces cost, risk and rework in large-scale deployments.

“Discovery is the most opportune time to catch and avoid making mistakes. It includes structured intake, workshops, specific deep dives, getting the right people in the room and doing a future-state capture, not just current state documentation.”

Inna Bolotina | Global HR Transformation Leader and WorkForce Software Practice Leader, Accenture

Protecting your WorkForce Software investment: A long-term playbook for stability and scale presented by EPI-USE

EPI-USE explored the realities of the work after go-live, including practical steps to make ADP® WorkForce Suite solutions easier to manage by outlining the guardrails that keep teams aligned. They went over a health-check model that’s designed to reveal issues before they become outages.

“The best way to manage system debt in your ADP WorkForce Suite environment is to develop a tailored plan that reflects your organization’s payroll processes, growth strategy, governance structure and operational policies.”

Will Giberson | Senior Director, Workforce Management, EPI-USE

Sustaining your workforce management investment through change management presented by HR Path

Our partner, HR Path, focused on moving beyond basic system maintenance to building a sustainment strategy that protects and evolves ADP WorkForce Suite solution. Attendees learned how to plan for ongoing adoption, manage organizational change alongside implementation or AMS support and ensure the processes and improvements you deploy are embraced by your workforce.

“Organizational change management is about bringing people into the equation. Go-live is a milestone; it’s not the end. It’s post-go-live where you see the value of OCM. OCM makes it so your people actually adopt the changes.”

Kathy James | Senior Director of Global Delivery, HR-Path

How Olymel scaled a focused implementation into a scalable blueprint for nationwide transformation presented by Rizing, a Wipro company

In a candid conversation led by Olymel and Rizing, a Wipro company, they shared the strategies, change management practices and collaboration models that powered their rapid success in the first deployment phase and how that early momentum enabled expansion into additional regions nationwide.

“We did a road show, where we did demos of the system at each site with videos for each user type, employee, manager, etc. And every roll out we learn and adapt. Each roll out we sit with supervisors, managers and employees to understand how to adapt the solution to adjust for better implementation at each phase.”

Sylvie Mondoux | Director, Time and Attendance, Olymel

How Dycom Industries unified time and attendance across 30+ subsidiaries presented by New Entity HCM

This session from Dycom and New Entity HCM was ideal for implementers, system architects and operational leaders who want more than out-of-the-box functionality. They shared concrete strategies for handling non-standard pay models, building reliable integrations with legacy systems and managing federal compliance requirements within the platform with attendees.

“We needed a system and process to support a large volume of prevailing wage systematically. An electronic process to get information from the field has made that so much easier. Time calculations are handled in the WorkForce Software solution, then rate and payroll processing is done in the payroll system, supporting weekly pay.”

Nathina Jacob | Manager, Business Process, Dycom

Over the last four days, attendees have engaged in hands-on training and insightful sessions alongside fellow clients, partners and ADP WorkForce Suite experts. Together, we explored real-world examples of how organizations overcame challenges and implemented best practices. With new perspectives and practical resources, we hope participants return to their organizations ready to elevate workforce management. We hope everyone can continue the momentum they gathered at VISION as they go back to their organizations. We’re poised to elevate workforce management together.
