She highlights that employers should seek direct feedback from employees when determining office design versus investing in perks that don’t offset the resistance to return to office.  

“When determining office design, employers should seek direct feedback from employees,” Moran said. “They should do this before investing in perks that don’t ‘offset the resistance to return to office’ and aren’t worth the increase in commuting costs and loss of flexibility.”
